CFA Edmonton Case Competition 2026

Overview
CFA Society Edmonton is pleased to open applications for the second annual CFA Society Edmonton Case Competition on February 7, 2026. The competition starts at 10:00AM but teams will be asked to register closer by 9:30AM.

This case competition will test students’ business and financial acumen while providing an opportunity to network with local CFA Charterholders and industry professionals. Students will be challenged to solve a business problem and provide a strategic recommendation by applying skills they have learned in their business programs.

The selected case will be predominantly business strategy focused, but will have a financial analysis/evaluation component; however, students from all faculties are encouraged to apply. A basic level of capital markets and business analysis knowledge is necessary to succeed in this competition.
